My wife was brought up that you spend/pay as you go. No interest payments. She says its like throwing money into a campfire.

I went to look at a car the other day, and they ran our credit score. When it came back, they threw a number at me (Dont remember what it was).

When I asked if it was good, their reply was... YES, It means you can have basically any car you want on the lot (Within reason of course).

Bottom line... Those who pay mortgage/bills, etc... will have good credit scores, and be at the top of the food credit chain (FWIW)

Those who don't, will have trouble borrowing for anything.
