"Why oil needs to be pumped to have value?" Very simple, if it costs too much to remove it from the field, it has less value than oil in better producing fields. I think Hemi owns a bunch of slow producing reserves which require many wells with energy intensive small pumps. Would you be interested in buying a gold mine on the moon????
