On your performance I notice you only show the stocks that you and Mike own.. While it is up 20%,, what is the value if you considered the stocks which you have sold.. A better what would be to show your 2009 begining price/buy price and sell price on all stocks as reference since the beginning of the year.. As most of my posts get deleted this will be cross posted on my trading board... hank
Please note -- the 2009 return on UVE includes the 10 cent dividend. To calculate this, I took the last price traded or $3.80 + 10 cents = $3.90 total value of the position even though the dividend pay date hasn't happened yet (March 4).
I think you should keep ALIF in your list, even if you indicate that it was sold at break even. An investment still represented a lost opportunity cost through the date of sale. JMO, which I admit isn't worth much.
