Ferris's purchase was less than two weeks' pay and we won't know whether he put cash into the company or whether he swapped a liability for it. Either way, we're not talking about chart moving volume of purchases from insiders.
On a year to date basis, the volume has pretty much been a flat line and I attribute that to market malaise overall. There are just too many other value choices available so that when VirTra makes some news, nobody gets excited. Personallt, I think GM bonds at 13 cents per dollar of par are a better deal.
Prior to that, the stock was exhibiting a classic pattern of "buy on the rumor, sell on the news", expaining why good news never meaningfully moved the stock price.
