chisox..That isn't nice to say. You hope everyone is acting in good faith. I would prefer the company did not act as their own TA, but for different reasons. My concerns are the enormous amount of paper work involved to become fully reporting and then stay current. It is a full time job as I see it.
There is a more serious conflict of interest if a broker dealer acts as the TA, IMO. I would prefer the company took over or a legitimate transfer agent company.
