We have had a few engineers at work come out of MIT ($50k+/year)that had to be fired because they were not good at real world type stuff. We have also had many (10+) engineers come out of NHTI in Concord NH($3k/year) that made fantastic engineers.

Going to college at a particular place does not make you smart or a hard worker.
