Carpenter clearly indicated the reason he didn't put a buy recommendation on idcc in his last report is because the samsung settlement was an "all or nothing" and he didn't feel it was right or fair to put a buy on idcc as idcc could have lost the case and the result would have been drastic. This clearly indicated when idcc and sam settled, then he would raise his recommendation. I think it's pretty clear that Carpenter will be more optimistic since samsung has signed. mo. nic
