revlis, i wasn't applying it to IDC so much a just making a statement of how that word can be used.

In contrary to the majority’s thought, I don’t see the reason why IDCC didn’t ask Samsung to pay (average $ / phones) more than Apple, RIM, and LG, barring the Volume discount,.

If Apple and RIM don’t produce the CDMA2000 phones while Samsung does then the IDCC IP’s are worth more for Samsung since they all licensed the same IDCC IP’s portfolio.

We shall see…
