It was hand in hand not either or. I bought a Radio shack 1 for my school. Then bought some Atari... and Model IIs. The issue was Lotus or Logo apps that made folks USE the machines and don'[t forget games and don't forget games and don't forget games --- sold a lot of software and hardware.

We're beyond that however IMO. There are more home office users of computers now then there were Enterprise users in 1985.

My current opinion is that there is a strong possibility that Wave is launching a much broader approach to trusted computing as of now than was realized.

Even Bingoman might get a FREE kit and do some security application programming. How about YOU?

I'm thinking today is the invasion of Sicily.....D day comes with beacheads established by some new OEMs and easily available 1.2, but with 20 million machines for sale they are going to be used by consumers too.

HBG -- people continue to underestimate SKS and that is why Things are good. I know I want what Larry D wants...some easy way to deal with encryption, passwords, and not having to download seven programs to block pop-ups and spam.

First brokerage firm to adopt TCG standards just might find itself holding a lot of CONSUMER Wave shares.
