It was Harry that led me wrong. Never was my fault. Actually, I think because qualcom was a much newer company unlike idcc which was 10 or more years older and I actually thought they had much more experience in a field I knew nothing about.. and still don't .. and who knew what Qcom would do. My mistake was thinking it was idcc who gave qualcom it's start.
I'm thinking now we'll never be another qualcom, as we just don't have the ip or even the numbers of people Q employs and that will limit our contribution to 4g and beyond as it has with 3g, I believe. I may be under the mistaken impression that because of it's limited resources, idcc's 3g contribution is in a select, narrow mode where qualcom's is more extensive and widely varied.
I do believe idcc is now a better investment than qualcom, but don't feel idcc will ever be another "baby qualcom", an idea I used to fall for hook, line and sinker. Still I think our good days are coming. .. jmo. .. nic
