I personaly dont think shore should have even processed the top portion of the shaft till maybe later on. they knew that this park of the shaft going down would not hold much for results, but they did it moreso to get a better idea of the kimberlite body itself, granted later on when they become a mine they probably wont bother processing much from the poor levels..
