Next week Shore will have more results coming out and from what I gathered there from the upper level in the Kimberlite Pipe and those results will be poor as the top level of the Kimberlite is diluted with country rock and Shore already release results from some of the upper levels and they show the results are poor.Down below its a different story there is more High Grade levels and thats how Shore may or may not get the 3000 carats need for a grade of .12 carats per ton
Diamets Mine in the NWT produced 1 carat per ton (note per ton)
Aber produces 4 to 5 carats per ton
See the Difference?But also remember Tonnage plays a key roll here too.In the Nwt Aber has about 50mil tons of super high grade diamonds
So in the end even though they have diamonds in the ground if its not feasible to mine there will be no mine. Ya have to make money when mining any type of deposit in the world
ShoreGold has around 500 mil tons Kensington has around 1.5 Billions tons of Kimberlite. So the Lower grade can be mined if they can get .12 to .20 carats per ton because of the high amount of tonnage
