It mattters not if they are naked or covered the buyers will have the stock added to their account automatically over the weekend. So if they was naked shorts they are now officially short IDCC, and may or may not cover depending on how deep their pockets are and where the stock goes. If they stay short and the stock should decline they cover. If it goes up and they can meet margin they just keep short and pray I guess, till they finally throw in the towel and run it up even more.
