I don't think it would be good anytime, Arc ...unless one were so soused (hee hee)...they wouldn't know what they were eating.

I know that stuff is still made in the German and Czech communities around here...but it's like pickled herring. I PASS!

BTW...I think there is some meat attached to the bones. Ugh!
