The facts are IDCC has been making money of late without any Nokia money, without any Samsung money, or Motorola, Sony Ericsson or any of the unlicensed 2G and 3G companies.
IDCC will have a ton of cash in relation to shares outstanding coming in to the till and payments through 2012. This will be a triggering of all others to license, and the cash flow should be extremely good.
We believe that Nokia and Sony Ericsson will be signing relatively soon, or certainly hope so. I have no idea how long it will be before they can get Motorola licensed, but for the long term shareholders that would be a feel good license, as the loss to Motorola was a devastating blow to IDCC and came close to putting them out of business, fortunately IDCC survived and as much as we all had opinions that wasn't always good about management, the fact they survived is a miracle and a accomplishment that we all should respect. I often wonder how they managed to do it.
Not only should the income increase by leaps and bounds, but the expenses should be going down. Then we get the additional chip revenue that they haven't had in the past, and it adds up to a brighter future.
