I was using a retail price, since I don't know what the rate is based on. I have no idea about any other price than the retail price. I have no clue what the wholesale price would be. The thing is what amount does QCOM get from a Nokia per handset, or from any of the other companies. If the amount is significantly higher than IDCC then maybe IDCC is a bargain to license with. I am saying this on the belief that IDCC has all they have maintained they have. I think their web sight describes how important the contributions to the wireless world IDCC has been and is. If the handsets would not funciton with out the IDCC tehnology then I would say 5% is reasonable if it was reasonable for QCOM to use. That is my view, and it doesn't mean a thing to what rate IDCC gets.
