I didn't call Merritt a liar, I said if he should be getting as some stated .50 cents a handset while as I understood him to be portraying $2.00 or fairly close then I would say he lied to us, not until we learn the rates if ever.
I am happy as happy can be as I think the man has told the truth, and I expect the rate to be closer to the $2.00 than the .50 cents.
I still don't know if IDCC is giving away the farm compared to what QCOM says they get. I am believing that IDCC has exactly what they say they have in the engine and transmission, and if they do what the heck does that leave for QCOM to have to collect 5% on?
I am willing to wait, and I bought my options to soon apparently but feel comfortable they will make me money.
I expect the Samsung money to come in January, and some knowledge about the chip situation soon thereafter. I expect Nokia any day to be announced after the Samsung announcement. I believe Nokia is done pending the Samsung announcement, and they may be able to announce it earlier don't know. I also think Sony Ericcson will be announced right after the Nokia announcement as IDCC said they had a 3G in place with Sony Ericsson when they settled.
Do I want to call Merritt a liar not at all, and hope IDCC makes all these naysayers eat crow when it comes to the rate.
I also hope we get guidance on the infrastructure aspect of getting money. I then would love to hear that IDCC can expect royalty payments from the computer makers, and any other wireless devices that require the technology or the chip.
I think the stock is cheap as cheap can be, but that doesn't mean the manipulators, and the non believers can't sell it off. I just think its time to be long the stock.
