#2479 RE: Qarel #2477

Hi Karel, Just some clarifications about IB:

In response to NYSE rulings regarding odd lot orders (less than 100 shares), Interactive Brokers will no longer allow customers to submit odd lot orders in NYSE listed stocks except to close out an existing odd lot position. There are no restrictions regarding odd lot trading for NASDAQ stocks, and Interactive Brokers will allow both opening and closing odd lot orders in all NASDAQ stocks.

Best,
Rien.

IB does oddlots now. I didn't know they didn't do them... I'm only with them since February. You can even short an oddlot! I had SUNW with an extra 45 and did a sell and click, sold 100, put me short 55 shares! Was just as easy to cover the 55 shares as it was to have me go short (and if I waited another 20 mins, I'd have even made more!).

I think IB gives interest for over 10,000, no? I think that's what I read... I just got over 10K yesterday with wired in funds. Guess I'll see how that works, next month.
