Ken/Tim

Do you favour any one particular type of high probability short term trading method.

Periodically I recognise that my overall investment structure lacks a speculative (high risk/reward) element, but have so far failed to address that issue, and this is one shortfall that I would like to correct.

I'm fundamentally looking for a 5% at risk with 2 to 3 times risked money profit potential type method, with the ability to make three such consecutive plays across the span of a single year.

I specifically have in mind to put yearly income of around 5% at-risk in such a method, staying out for the remainder of the 12 month period if any one of the runs fails (so that income streams replenish the 5% loss). Such that compounding the gains from earlier runs into subsequent runs and where all three are successful results in a trebling of the total account value.

Perhaps something along the lines of a Dow down 250 points stop loss level versus 750 up trend continuation take-profit target level with entry based on some TA indicator.

Thanks in advance.

Clive.

Hi Ken, Re: Laddering...

Thanks Ken! I think so also. It takes the Lichello AIM method one step further as a non-emotional method of investing. Clive's done the pioneering for us and demonstrated his ladder and spreadsheets. So hat's off to him!

Best, Tim
