The govt needs to let them fend for themselves, which most likely means CH 11. I am very happy to see that Obama is looking beyond the UAW demands and is exploring CH 11 options for them. That is leading, which is a good sign for all of us.
...and when these CEOs were asked if they would follow Lee Iacocca's lead and take an annual salary of just $1.00 until their companies were on better footing, only FORD's chairman spoke up and said "yes". GM and CHRYSLER CEOs remained silent, which spoke volumes.
