johnbits, I think your reply warrants a serious a answer. First of all its bp for biopearl, its a play on my name an old medical school friend used, not an expression of my as yet unrecognized ability to choose biotech diamonds in the rough. I plan an official handle change to bg (bioguru) when gtcb passes the 10 dollar mark. I may have to wait a bit but Confucius said all good things come to he who waits. Since I have been long for approximately 13 years, I can wait a little longer. You are of course right about the spread sheet from a hardheaded accountants viewpoint. The short and intermediate term for gtcb is not about what is in the bank. Now wait before you jump for a moment. Imagine an IPO for a company that had low value but needed cash to develop an idea or product. Isn't that how most small companies start? They borrow money with a business plan and a vision for a future income stream. GTCB of course is not a start up and yes still has no product on the market at least in the US. They have taken a long time to get there but it is conceivable that data on DIC could be available within one year or less. If it were positive would you invest in it if the company were new and fresh? How about an oral treatment (cure) for hemophillia? How about a really effective preventative for nerve gas? How about therapeutically proven Mabs? How long would you be willing to wait for a return on your investment? Instead we have a mature company not a new one with an experience that does not translate into dollars yet. Transgenics IS how at least some medications will be manufactured. The value of this company EVEN (or if you wish, especially) IN ITS PRESENT POOR FINANCIAL FORM is so unrecognized. How many companies in the history of the DOW have traded for big share prices with no income on the promise of the future. Even at 1 or 2 cents a share of income the multiple of a stock like this should be extraordinary. Very few see this now, perhaps you among them. Contrary to beliefs you seem to like to promulgate, Cox has been hard at work. The day after FDA Atyn approval, this is a different company and it WILL command respect from BP, biogenerics, potential partners for any number of projects. MM093 didn't work, but its not that gtcb couldn't produce it. They did. Why will future production of many therapeutics be transgenic? Simple. It has too. It can make pure and cheap product. How it gets there is a different story. bp, that's bP to you.
