Cole, I have to agree with what you said but I have to disagree that there was NO testing at Edwards. I think it prudent that I remind you of the now infamous "white pickup" test whereby the prototype was tied to the tailgate of an old truck and drug around in circles flailing helplessly in the wind. I remember the "secret military" and "secret invites" crowd of 12 (i suspect it was whoever they could grab on base in a uniform) in their folding chairs looking up at the blimp from a height of almost 100 feet (they didn't have enough "doubled-up" kite string to go any higher) with an almost paradigm shifting look upon their faces as they were being video'd from an r/c camera attached to the blimp. Oh wait, I may be mistaken. Was that at edwards or the palmdale facility that they were kicked out of ? or is that considered the same place ?
