Letting them die would do a hell of a lot more harm than helping them out! They are not like banks that are taking advantage of the bailouts! Ford and GM employ a lot of people and help the economy and I very much doubt they are losing money on purpose...
You might as well make some money off of the inevitable . The government is going to help them out . It might not come until after Obama is in office but its coming .
