The two-week limit of the all-oral regimen in INFORM-1 was dictated by concerns about the safety of an untested combination. No one thinks that two weeks of this regimen without follow-up SoC is an adequate duration to give patients a reasonable chance to achieve an SVR.

If all goes well in this study, ITMN-191 + R7128 will be tested for a longer duration that does offer a reasonable chance of SVR without follow-up SoC. It’s too soon to say whether that longer duration will be 48 weeks, 24 weeks, or 12 weeks, but we assuredly can say that it is not going to be 2 weeks.
