It would be nice to know—but it would be unethical to find out.

Surprised to see that of you. (not a dis - just true surprise). Why? Eventually they will have to run such a trial and someone won't get treated. Given that they already have good evidence of some efficacy why wait? (and what are they waiting for - when will they feel it appropriate to run such a trial?)
