”Call me crazy! I think the R/S is a good thing.......”
Calling you, or any of the others who’ve bellied up to the kool-aid bar, “crazy” is to assume you are speaking from the perspective of an existing shareholder. This may be a valid assumption in some cases to make, but I’ll withhold judgment.
For an existing shareholder, to really believe an RS is a good thing is “crazy” because your existing shares have become nearly without value. Bear in mind, the RS PR was pretty straightforward: they’re doing this to raise capital (ie. to start an all new sell-off, which inevitably reduces the value of RS’d shares).
Existing shareholders have just been marginalized, and have lost their money.
For the company, of course, it is not “crazy”: it is a part of their business plan. An RS followed by a P&D dillution operation, is what their “business” really is, it is how the philanthropist Garr Winters makes his money; so, if you are speaking from that perspective you make all the sense in the world.
Also worth noting from the PR you cite is the following:
“RMD Entertainment Group (RMDM) Announces Corporate Restructuring
Wednesday October 8, 6:00 am ET…. Since we started updating Pink Sheets we have received many inquiries visa vie possible stock split and other corporate matters. We have no plans whatsoever to do any sort of a stock split for unforeseeable future.”
