Yes I remember it well that was the year Golden boy Simms was at the helm when Applewhite was fully recovered from his injury and should have been starting QB. We played Colorado in the Big 12 championship game and we had already beaten them by about 40 in the regular season..Simms played terrible and threw about four interseptions and gave CU some early cheap scores...we were down by about 24 pts in the third Qtr when they put Applewhite in...we came back and almost beat them...We were poised to play in the big game until that loss...Thanks for the reminder...LOLOL
