#33 RE: Mattu #32

matt, i just received your message about the subscription and it caused me to send you a question

which now raises another question

if the link to the irp disclosure page only shows up on posts made after an irp subscribes and clicks the checkbox to insert the irp disclosure link

and if ihub is asking us to remove our siggy links to our disclaimers

then what happens to all of our historical posts once we remove our siggy links?

would that then leave those posts..possibly thousands of them

with no disclosure? or link to the disclosure that was once there?

i believe it would

so then theroretically, we would not have any readily available links to any disclosure within those historical posts?

am i correct here?

if so, this is a huge issue is it not?

ok matt, I just took a look at rebelgirls historical posts, she is now an irp, and has removed her link to her old disclaimer on her website, I looked at one of her recent pre irp day posts on a board for one of her clients.

so indeed old posts do NOT show the disclaimer link anymore

I do believe this creates a problem, we are expected to make any reasonable attempts to make that info visible within the post is my understanding of the matter

Do you have differing information? That said, if you do not...got any ideas how ihub intends to work around this historical problem?

another huge issue good sir!

ok so let's assume for debate purposes that the old post has no link to disclosure, and one might think ok look at their profile

here is what you would see

now we have no link to disclaimer in the post...and nothing in the profile that makes it an obvious conclusion that the old post or the current profile is originating from a promoter?

i see the symbol for the irp...but this is not in keeping with the regs...

unless you have information i am not aware of? houston? might have a problem
