odin, excellent DD. Flotec looking to expand from 67 to around 90 people - one and a partial shift to two complete shifts. Very heavy buoyancy to be piled 3-deep and in 4 rows - 12 in each trailer.

I must admit that video was well worth watching.
For starters FT desperately needs this 17,000 sq ft expansion.
It will allow them to increase the workforce from about 60 to over 90 employees, and allow them to operate two complete shifts, a 1st and a 2nd shift.

It talks about the product line they will be making and loading directly onto the trucks, sounds like it could be drilling risers.

This will be the third buildings and grounds expansion for DPDW this year *, they did purchase some additional land for this one as well. I don't have the sq ft of the current building, but from the aerial view(google)and the site plan from the meeting, I would guess a 25% to 35% increase in manufacturing space.

* Four if you include the extra manufacturing capacity represented by DDI North.

When will the doubters begin to see what is happening with this company?

i more than enjoyed watching that video as flotec has been approved by a unaminous decision to be allowed to expand its facilities and begin a very strategic loading procedure for its products. one that will allow it to move quicker and more efficiently. i especially love the support the board gave in regards to keeping flotation in biddeford as well as remarks of them being successful and busy. i belive flotec is happy in biddeford and doing quite well even though the one gentlemens case was that we need flotation here not in houston!

in the end everyone goes home happy and we are soon on our way to FURTHER GROWTH!

it is in my very strong opinion that flotation tech has and is becoming more popular than any of us may be imagining, especially as they ramp up exposure to markets even more. as it stands right now we have 23.5 million dollars in orders that we are aware of, with 5.5 million possibly more from the delba contracts coming in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

thanks so much for the video odin, i have never been as excited about our growth and success as i am right now and am immensly enjoying the telling of a tale that many of us here saw as writing on the wall and as more and more chapters continue to be added i believe there will be many very pleased investors here !(JMHO)

Once again you guys pull up some good DD.

A couple of notes on the expansion of FT.

The acquisition of FT by DDI was announced April 18

- only 6 weeks later (June 4) the expansion plan was presented to the planning board in "concept" phase

- 1 week after that (June 9) the PIPE and closing on the acquisition was done

- 3 weeks after that (July 2) the planning board approves the plan which now has all related permits and filings accepted

That is a very impressive time line. I call that execution on the roll-up plan.

one side tidbit from a phone conversation with Steve Haag a few days ago - "DDI north" is what they call "the machine shop" and it seemed to me that the satellite operation was just a small additional shop facility to the main shop, nothing more, nothing less. Steve said it had been part of the overall operation since before he was brought on as IR.
