Mr. Kircher brings more than twenty-five years experience in materials science to Flotation Technologies

Mr. Kircher holds both a BS and a Masters Degree in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has been awarded six U.S. patents.

my favorite line--

His expertise will prove invaluable as we continue in the development of new, proprietary products and materials."

sounds to me like we are firing on all four cylinders with the addition of our graphic studio, electrowaves new web site and pictures of projects, mako adding key people and equipment, deep down by way of camera has been busy busy busy, and now this from flotec proving that as deep water exploration CONTINUES to go forward that our companies within ddi and the core itself are taking every measure to meet demand and be 100% capable and at the ready!

i am so very proud as a shareholder in the steps that management has taken in growing this company into a powerhouse.

things might not look this amazing when you look at the stock price but if your paying attention to what is going on behind the scences and the forward progress we have made in the last 20 months or so then you will see that the best is yet to come as we fast approach going into our 3rd year as a public company.

a crucial and important milestone that in my opinion will become a turning point in many different and very positive ways as we move forward into a very hot and demanding sector whose thirst for oil is unquenchable(JMHO)

Minutes 7/2/08 REGULAR AGENDA

Present: Arlene Eisenstadt-Chair, Larry Patoine, Jamie Mawhinney, Roch Angers-Secretary, Jennie Franceschi-Planning Engineer & Greg Tansley-City Planner.

Excused: Anita Coupe-Vice Chair

Date: Wednesday, July 2, 2008
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Council Chambers, City Hall

C. 2008.10 THE FINAL SITE PLAN REVIEW FOR FLOTATION TECHNOLOGIES for a 17,080 SF addition to the current building at 20 Morin Street (Tax Map 11, Lot 9-1) in the I-1 zone.

Arlene E. read the application into the record.

Greg T. gave a brief summary of the project. He noted it is located in the Biddeford Industrial Park & basically, the applicant needs more space. There is also a subdivision amendment required. Erosion & stormwater plans were submitted & accepted by Jennie Franceschi, Planning Engineer. The Board has seen this as conceptual and there were not many comments at that time on the project. Two waivers requested & required; to allow parking within 10’ of the side lot line and for the placement of loading doors that face a roadway. Staff recommended to grant the waivers. The outstanding issues have all been adequately addressed except one. We did not received the ability to serve letter from Mr. Copeland in our sewer department but we expect that to come in. Two approvals are required, first the subdivision approval. If that is approved, the Board could grant the waivers, & then the Board could grant the site plan permit.

Dave Wade, Trade Center, presented the plan to the Board. This is a 17,000 SF addition to include additional parking and a loading dock. Includes the purchase of approximately ¾ acre area. They are currently working on stormwater with the City. We have received approval from E.I.C. Submitted to DEP the permit by rule information & we haven’t heard anything in 14 days, which is a good thing. He explained the elevations & the rendering he submitted of the plan.

Arlene E. opened to the public.

Bob Dodge, Economic Development Director, in support of the expansion project. He stated this expansion is very important to the applicant. They need to be able to function and the City of Biddeford will work with them to allow they to grow right here in Biddeford and not somewhere in Texas. He urged the Board to consider the proposal very carefully.

Arlene E. closed to the public & brought it back to the Board for comment.

Larry P. noted to Mr. Dodge, very well put & it looks great.
