thanks to all who offered ideas on my cable access issues.


tomorrow will be much more enjoyable even if i lose money as i can at least see the stuff i want to see when i want to see it. it took me 6 minutees to place one order at profunds today due to my connection speeds. only got the order in with 30 sec to spare. didnt want a deja vu of yesterday to start my day off on wrong foot.

I had the same or very similar problem with wireless. To diagnose the problem I turned off my router and had my neighbor use his. His performance improved. Note: I was then able to use my wireless connection through his router with much better performance. (yes I could share and we could save the monthly fee) When my neighbor turned his router off my performance was great. The solution was to go to data encryption to avoid data conflict between routers.
