i have comcast here in oregon. i tried a few things this afternooon. i ran teh tests again and got the same chitty results of 240/220 down/up. then i ran cable from cable modem directly to laptop and got back into normal range of 3130/230 so thats cool. then i went back to wireless and got similar results. thats the part that i dont comprehend. i never turned anything off to reset as that would kind of make sense.

whats the poop on how to set up my wireless router or cable modem for data encryption?
