GP, it's been a funny spawn down here. Strange weather the past year and a half. Cold lasted much longer this year. Last summer was a very cool one for South Texas. Opening day of Dove season the year before was 108 degrees. Last year we had tremendous storms all the way up to opening morning and I don't remember it ever getting to 90 degrees. 'Course temperatures never bother a hunter or fisherman. Anytime is a good time. Sorta like Sex, huh? LOL

annual big-mouth-bass spawning season really gets underway, and the bass start hitting anything that moves in Virginia's Rivers, lakes and streams

How do you get a bass to bite when you see them on the bed?

I assume it's the male guarding the bed. I've thrown everything but the kitchen sink at them and they won't "take the bait".
