Regarding $300/barrel oil, I never said it was a no-brainer. And I never will. I merely stated the possiblity based on the way current events were shaping up at the time. The market was jittery over a serious conflict with Iran, and that was true at the time. Fortunately, Bush turned around and applied pressure to Israel not to strike Iran and take out their nuke facilites - so far so good. But if Obama gets elected, Bush might release the dogs before he's done. If McCain wins, Israel will likely wait to strike until after he is in the White House. This is all specualtion. No gaurantees. In other words, don't bet on it.
