The God of Jesus Christ is being rejected. Jesus said
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me."
The Bible is pretty clear about it.
Universalist, like Barack Hussien Obama, say they are Christian but in reality, they are not. He readily admits that there is 'more than one way to God' besides Jesus Christ. If that is true, then the Bible is flat wrong, and Jesus was a lunatic.
It is easy, but hard to believe in Jesus. For one thing, it will convict you of your sins...you have to do something about it, and we don't like that. The other difficult thing to believe is that others, that is, other good people of different faiths, will not be part of God's Kingdom. That makes the God of Jesus Christ harsh, not loving, and turns people off.
Which leaves one with Faith and Grace:
"For it is by Grace you have been saved, though Faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God --- not by works, so that no one can boast."

Interestingly enough, when I state this kind of stuff, many people will attack me personally, call me all kinds of names, and tell me how hateful I am. In reality it is the exact opposite........it is they who are intolerant, hateful etc. I am about as nice a person as they come. I accept anyone for who they are, and it does not matter what color, religion or faith one has, I ACCEPT YOU, for who you are.
