Funny! well maybe not...you and bri going back and forth as I do brought some of this to my mind this morning.

My older brother who I speak with from long distance, he will call or I will, belongs to the Church Of God, and who has done his best all his life to live a good Christian life, told me he was reading an article from one the magazines he received from his church that he has been a member of like forever, a monthly publication I suppose, lives in another State, kinda like the Jewish Chronicle, stated that one of the biggest problem facing us as a people comes from the clashing of minds........I didn't read it but this was an excerpt from it, and just that nothing more if I remember?.

Hardly anyone can agree on anything, anymore, in particular the politicians in the world, or the world leaders......Look at what is going on with the Palestinians, and Israel, I have been hearing similar things since I was 16, recently the more concessions Israel makes the more they want, and whether its the people in the world or governments, the problems seem to grow worse.

People want laws that suit them as a society even if the laws are not in everyone's best interest, and with this we get a Govt that evolves, that may not be in anyone's best interest. The same goes for long established churches or religions. I remember a couple decades ago the new leader of the Methodist was a woman, and she wanted to change the wording or language of the Bible to either sound more feminine, or to conform it, so it would be more acceptable to women......whatever the case.........example: instead of man "which most interpret this as meaning mankind", it would be changed and worded to address both men and women, instead of man, it would read man, and woman..........

Ridiculous but the point is made. Instead of receiving God on His terms, people want to change this and create a God who serves them.........and this would be society........Kinda like the golden calf the Jews made when Mose was on the mountain. Even though the Jews were led out of Egypt and saved from the Pharaoh, when Moses did not return when they wanted him to, that God had left them there to die in the desert since their needs were not being met, and within their time frame.

If everyone here and abroad who was claiming to be in the service of God, and believed God to be Holy, and a God of love, we would be at peace with one another, and believed in the faith we assert to, we would all want to be a better people. More people than not it seems, myself included are hypocrites, more times than not want to do things our own way, instead the way we are instructed to do, its not that God needs to change its the world. There was only one miracle that created all of us, not 50. Only one supreme force, not many.

Everyone has a right to be on this planet, and everyone has the right to exist, and no man has a right to encumber them unless they are breaking mans law, and if we didn't have laws there would be total chaos. If we are obeying Gods laws, we would be obeying mans law which are put in place by Governments. If not we wind up in court, jail or prison, or in the ground depending on our crimes.

I guess the bottom line question is what are we all striving for?.......The bigger house, the next new car, things?, or a better country where honesty and good prevails, with a more peaceful existence, where we should be able to walk down any street in our own country freely and safely but we can't even here at home.

We know we can't nor should we want to rule the world, no more than some gang rule over some community in our land, and no one or govt should rule over a people from doctrines they've created which don't serve the overall good.

If governments are evil, who enforce their evil on those they choose to enslave or imprison, or murder their own people need to be dealt with one way or the other. The world countries need to acknowledge them, like Putin, or Chavez, and North Korea and many others. If we accept these regimes one day it might be us.

This is what I thought the UN was suppose to accomplish. Most of us have no idea what the UN is even all about today, but we have discovered recently that corruption even exist there.
Everyone today wants to have a Nuclear missile or missiles to fire at someone offensively, and this is not what the world needs or should have, and if everyone could eliminate them the better off our world would be.
