#2184 RE: megster #2183

Thanks for your response, Megs. I'm not much of a market player myself. Did a little daytrading on a semi-regular basis a few years back....for a short time....but not really my cup of tea. My interest is to seek out the best values that I can find for my investment money for the long-term. I don't expect to always be right. But I try to do as much homework as I can on those that I choose.

In any event, what I cited was from a just filed Sedar financial report, the Canadian equivalent to the US SEC reports, not a news release.....that stated that the zeolite plant construction was underway and planned to be complete in September, 2004.

Should I blindly accept the statement as gospel....at least the part that construction will be completed in September, 2004? No, don't believe I said anything like that. The report did also say, though, that construction was underway. Overall, I will accept it as the latest bit of official news coming from one of the parties, regarding the plant.

Should I choose to disregard this latest statement, in light of opinions here and elsewhere on other investment boards?

That would seem to me to make pretty silly investing sense.

Can I maintain a degree of skepticism while I point out what the companies are saying on their published reports, while I take what they say into account?

Certainly can.

See, we agree on something here.

As for Zeo, I don't see that they have completed their private placement financing. At the same time, I also must consider the possibility that they have backup plans for such financing. I also see that they have other assets that they may be able to borrow on, per their financials. In any event, the three companies finding a way to get the plant completed would seem the prudent thing to do, given the potential magnitude of the Halliburton contract.....and the upfront time taken to put such a deal together.
