which is to say, it's for a stackable/or not carousel, but would not spin, but just be a transport? i still think the slots would allow the drop to the ocean floor, as the 'flutes' did with the S.A.M.s. i wonder what the circle cut outs at each end is for. so many soon to be figured out questions, lol

Edit: how about the stable spindle allowing for a removable HDU to be placed on it, to spin a carousel, all removable, from subsea, keeping in mind the 4 other attachments that would help stabilize/anchor the HDU unit
