I think we have a mess here. The only one I recognize and trade in and out, is BGEN and usually AMGEN follows same when MetaStock 7.02 sez to trade.
The Dianosis Doctor over at IBD's privy club house, sez these guys are all rated with a Dee. That's not good. A's and B's are kewl and C is neutral, where D's E's and F's are eating dirt on the old teeter todder board.
Next, went to Automatic Investor's SOM (Screen-O-Matic) which gives clues to there volatility ratings ie:
INFS 50 BGEN 16 DOX 38 ELN 34
I recall, if it is in the green or above 80, that is a good candidate for further research.
According to Investor-3000 and IBD's clubhouse list, they seem to like GTK (short term) and I like to do further research on DLX. DLX is always in my face and on some major list of some sorts of wanting to buy and keep forever. Writing checks perhaps. KFT would be another. Women (CFO's in charge of Domestic Engineering) should like this one.
I use askresearch.com alot and observe the mickey D's or the red stuff swave. It is practically telling you a story by leaning in the direction in advance. Or stockcharts.com where you either in cloud nine or swimming with the whales according to the RSI info at the top of the chart. I think they call it overbought and oversold. Could never understand whose who. I just know, when it comes out of the clouds trouble is coming. and when the whales turn and head up for air, it is Kewl.
Tom has a unique Valueline check off list for finding good candidates and some day will go over line by line with his program and digest everything slowly. Like the Chamber Brothers song "Time", where time, is the enemy. My rug rats are trying to teach me time management.
As you may well know, we are all getting lazy and are using the Stock Scanners to do all our research. Tom always had the right idea of heading over to the library with either sitting down and reading the material with a check off form of sorts, or carry a bunch of dimes and make photostatic copies.
How's this for a mess, trying to wean off LT's and ST's and settle for AIMing around. Nah!
