Float...
I wish someone would correct me if I'm way off here
but it's the difference between the O/S outstanding shares
and the number of A/S Authorised shares.
If a company has 10 shares and 8 of them have been issued,
the FLOAT would be 2 shares. They COULD be issued at any
time the managment decides once AUTHORISED by the share holders.
Many companies have reverse splits hanging on them for a
LONG time before they are exercised by management TOO.
You get into warrants and private placements and privilaged
shares and it can get DAMN confusing !!!
Especially for a dumb ass like ME !!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAH
One thing that I HAVE noticed is that when there IS an issue
for X amount of money...the share price heads their like a
magnet....if I see an issue for MORE than my share price...
I hold.
If they DUMP a TON of shares to their buddies at HALF the
current share price......"RED MEANS RUN....SON !"
I don't wait for the shareholders to VOTE on a Reverse split
EITHER...I run like HELL !!!

PS...one of the reasons that I LOVE THIS STUFF is because
I've YET to have a day that I didn't become LESS of a dumb ass !
