Once again the W-L total on any of the Mets starting pitcher is not entirely accurate due to the outrageous # of blown leads by the bullpen. Oliver Perez though it is a tale of two seasons. Ever since the New Pitching coach changed his pitching motion, and let him stand in the Middle of mound, why he wasn't allowed to stand in the middle of the mound to start with I'll never know. Since he said he want to stand there because he feels alot more comfortable. Since he has pitched well.
In His Last 16 starts (since the pitching Motion, and where he stands on the Mound has changed) he has pitched to a 3.21 era.
15/16 starts he pitched at least 6 innings.
13/16 Quality starts
If My calculations are right that sounds like a good pitcher to me. Just my opinion.
