Fujitsu has been making Spark processors for a while now. I am not sure what is new in this announcement.
Too bad its hardly much faster than Sun's own chips. OTOH at least it has a roadmap going forward. IMO this will do little to staunch the bleeding away from SPARC and Solaris.
