There are places out Nootka way where they'll get smaller halibut in as little as 30' of water.

Hope to have some more memories and pictures next week. Buddy is flying out from Alberta on Thursday and we're heading back to Nootka for big Northern Coho and more Halibut etc. He's never been offshore with me yet...should scare heck out of him the first time....hehe
