Excellent point brezlin...as my fiance & I took a couple of our kittens to the vets a few months back to get fixed & the vet had to take their tempuratures in that uncomfortable way you mention...so just thinking about how many veterinarians there are in Canada & the US alone opens up a whole new channel of opportunity to say nothing of the numbers when we expand them globally...I mean what vet wouldn't prefer the Thermofocus when working with animals/pets due to the non-invasive technology right!!!

Checks food temperature? Prevents food poisoning. Interesting applications for food safety at picnics/BBQ's etc. Think about it, once a food reaches a certain temperature for a period of time, it is no longer safe to eat--stuff like chicken, potato salad, etc.
