gamood: It's fun to speculate. I was leaning toward ConMed (CNMD) and DePuy Mitek (JNJ) on the "RF subsegment" list. Maybe I just like the thought of J&J in our camp!
ConMed "ConMed Linvatec is a global leader in the fields of arthroscopy, multi-specialty endoscopic medical video systems and powered surgical instruments. Headquartered in Largo, FL, ConMed Linvatec is at the forefront of technology for a growing range of minimally invasive and orthopaedic surgery procedures."
"Orthopaedic surgeons use ConMed Linvatec arthroscopic instrumentation, implants, fixation and tissue repair systems with brand names that include Linvatec and Shutt®, for diagnostic purposes, minor surgeries and complex reconstructions of knees, shoulders and small joints such as the wrist and ankle." http://www.conmed.com/newdesign.php
DePuy Mitek, Inc. (a J&J company) "A leading developer and manufacturer of innovative orthopedic sports medicine products, DePuy Mitek has recently expanded to become a full-line player in sports medicine. The company offers technologies from minimally-invasive and arthroscopic surgical solutions that address the challenges of soft tissue repair in the knee, shoulder, and other joints..." http://www.depuy.com/Pages/DePuyMitek.aspx
These are my opinions and sentiments only. Take them for what they're worth. Do your DD. Buying stocks is risky!

If LTC announces a system for welding the torn or splinter of a tendon/ligament back down, vrs the current SOP of clipping, cutting/grinding/sanding.... simply put .. removal of the splintered end of the separation of the ligament, this would infer the inherent loss of fundemental strength in the structure may be a thing of the past. It's my belief, people would line up at the door.
