If LTC announces a system for welding the torn or splinter of a tendon/ligament back down, vrs the current SOP of clipping, cutting/grinding/sanding.... simply put .. removal of the splintered end of the separation of the ligament, this would infer the inherent loss of fundemental strength in the structure
may be a thing of the past. It's my belief, people would line up at the door.
