i agree with u traderfan.
based on a lot of statements i bought in as well (more than 60k ) with averaging down. at some point i could have sold for 180k. well i didn't. big mistake.
i hope paul does not forget the real long term shareholders.
now. if i was paul and running a company which depended initially on shareholders money to start activity, could i or would i really say everything that is going on for competition or flippers to know every detail?
I agree that i would have preferred a - totally quiet period- instead of saying things which never happened or in my opinion were misleading. fact is that the true believers always trusted paul words.
i didn't sell because we were always told results are around the corner.
i can imagine how difficult it is to start a company and try to survive , even more in a field with a lot of competition. as i said also in the past, i try always to figure out if something makes sense or not.
i have no problems with delays at all. but i cannot stand endless statements without explanation when they fail.
what about the JV ? there was obviously a reason for telling us before the deal was even set, which is not negative at all, if the intention was not only selling more shares but really want to achieve the JV. I AM TALKING ABOUT CREDIBILITY.
if they say it will be the end of July then i expect something ( i do not care if positive or negative ) by the end of July no matter what. I am following the company for more than three years now and spooz's credibility and reputation suffered a lot.
what joke is this, leaving us with almost no value anymore without any explanation.
as i said, i have no problems with delays but i cannot stand when we flip from one issue to the other without any explanation for any of them.
i EXPECT an explanation about the joint venture. i.e.141 was not trading but people bought in expecting results. what about the test period with half a million bug free trades ? then we hear about the re-write (ok not from the ceo himself) ,etc.
if i put everything together i see a lot of contradicitions. that's why i'd rather have a quiet period for a year instead of all the contradictory statements and meaningless statements.
reputation in the business world is really important and i think it is really disrespectful leaving us, the real long term shareholders in the dark. one thing is for sure, none of us can sell with a loss of 99%.
i understand also that no company can say "we are going to have a delay for the next six months", it would be too risky to find funds. but that is only ok if the company knows that they have a "real" chance to be successful . i would understand that.
the statement " we care about our shareholders" , doesn't have an expiration date for me. communication is really important, even if u say we cannot talk at the moment but the company is on track.
If I want to take a huge risk then I play roulette
If I want to take a moderate risk then I invest in a company which is already established
If I want to take a big risk I invest in a start-up company
To be clear, when I started to invest in spooz I took a big risk. as a real investor then, you keep doing your own dd and pay attention on who the management is and what the ceo says. according to the company's
Development the investor decides, if to put more money in it or not.
For me the big risk was, when I bought this stock ( in 2005 ) with almost no information; and calculated risk, when the company started to make statements in order that an investor had/has a better understanding of what was/is going on.
Well, paul was misleading in this matter and all the real long term investors who followed the company closely bought more shares and are down 99%.
How can we be rewarded when spooz should really be succesful ? I mean I paid over 60k in the hope to retire and start my own business. now for the same amount of shares you pay not even 3'000 USD.
I do not believe becoming a millionaire with an investment of 3000 usd.
This is the sad thing about this story, the (apparently) well informed investor was fooled and the gamblers made the money with flipping.
I do not have any money left to keep averaging down, that is a fact.
All this pro and contra is ridiculous, especially the statements from people who are in for a few months and (imo) know nothing. not because they are stupid ( I would never dare ) but the story tells that every statement, even when it comes from the company, is just a hope and not a fact. the price shows it pretty well. when I gamble I expect to lose everything , and that's because I cannot forecast the numbers.
To give everybody the same chance ( the long term investors and the gamblers) spooz should have been quiet all the time.
Why am I so negative now? well I cannot stand when peoples' IQ gets offended.
after 3 years, I think I have the right to be upset.
Apart that I am also invested in 141, but that is another story.
THAT'S MY OPINION.
