Yes... and No...
I know the TRUSTED COMPUTING play within government... and pretty much how THEY'RE (meaning the .gov and .mil) approaching this topic. So my comments are about that. And LOTS of the old chestnuts about government procurement are coming into play in that realm. Factor in the war effort... and... well the point is obvious.
THEY'RE not interested in providing references... even though trusted computing is being adopted (in fits and starts) and TPMs ARE being turned on and leveraged.
The NSA, who knows a thing or two about keeping secrets secret, is insisting upon TPMs for their HAP systems. The DOD has mandated TPMs. The NSA **qualified** the Seagate FDE for sensitive environments.
Yes, Q3 will see some buying. As you point out, that's the season.
