wall..what is interesting to note

is how the film 'saving private ryan'

was portrayed by media and perceived by most watching it..

ABC Seeks to Keep Stations from Deserting 'Ryan'

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - ABC television, backed by Republican Sen. John McCain and other leading conservatives, sought on Thursday to keep nervous affiliate stations from deserting a Veterans Day broadcast of the acclaimed World War II film "Saving Private Ryan."

McCain, a former Vietnam prisoner of war who is introducing the broadcast on ABC, issued a statement saying the film "comes nowhere near indecent."

"'Saving Private Ryan' is a powerful and important depiction of the sacrifices made for our country," McCain said." While it contains violence and profanity, these are not shown in a gratuitous manner."

The movie has more depth than merely an antiwar movie or a movie based upon patriotism and bravery in action for one’s country..

You're suspect of "Saving Private Ryan?!?!" So now WWII movies are leftist propaganda? Do you also have a problem with Steven Spielberg?

Re: Steven Spielberg, I don't like him or his leftist views, but that's another matter.

why is it so difficult to talk about real issues?

it seems many can not communicate beyond their own ideologies which, to them, defines their existence

anything that is either not understood or against a preconceived belief is simply given a label and dismissed

if the topic persists

it just gets ugly

accomplishes absolutely nothing worth while

just keeping with their particular herd's mentality

some, while nursing fragile egoes

just trying to gain insight..

is it reasonable to assume that before anything can be done with the federal reserve

we must first have the commander-in-chief, through executive order, renounce his military authority and have congress reconvene by rules of order for parliamentary bodies or by constitutional law?

thereby taking the american people out from under martial rule and the perpetual state of "national emergency"..

as it stands now

Constitutional law under the original Constitution for the American states is apparently enforced only as a matter of keeping the public peace under the provisions of General Orders No. 100 under martial rule..

This "peace" is further evidenced in the Preamble of the so-called Expatriation Act of 1868..

And under Martial Law, title is a mere fiction, since all property belongs to the military except for that property which the Commander-in-Chief may, in his benevolence, exempt from taxation and seizure and upon which he allows the "enemy" to reside..

Ever wonder how the government can get away with stealing one's free and clear titled home for not paying land rent?

Unless it is not one's own home

think about it..

A similar question arises in "Blackhawk Down". They lost quite a few man trying to save one man. Stupidity or bravery is always a thin line.

The bigger question concerning the 14th Amendment is still lost on me, but it usually takes me some time to fully grok something. I'll keep reading.
