Please provide a scripture that says that those you refer to were indwelled by the Holy Spirit. If that's the case, what about the temple, and the arc of the covenant, the church? There have been others that have held to the teaching that the Holy Spirit "came upon them" to do specific things(makes more sense to me),,,,not lived in them, which is a part of the "NEW COVENANT". If He was in them, why did he need to talk from bushes, angels, asses, clouds......enough?
Who has made a God out of Moody, Spurgeon, Wesley, Calvin, etc., that their opinions are infallible?
They gave commentaries, which included some that renounced some issues that I know personally from experience to be true, so their commentaries are not necessarily truth, but truth as they saw it looking through a dark glass.
Honor is certainly to be given where it is due, but even those who you name were men,,,,subject to, and committing errors.
What is Jesus' commentary?:)
Jhn 14:17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Have a great day`
